We are delighted to own Forestglen Bravo ET who was selected by us from the Forestglen stud in Australia in 2010. He arrived in New Zealand in November 2010 and immediately started work. His first cria have now arrived (see photos) and we are absolutely delighted with them. He has a number of confirmed pregnancies and there a quite a few more cria to arrive in the 2012/13 summer.
Bravo has a rich light fawn, almost medium fawn fleece which has a very soft handle, low primary fibre and grows a long staple with a medium frequency deep amplitude crimp. The fineness of his fleece is continuing to hold despite the change in climate and diet. He has a lovely gentle nature and already we can see that trait in his cria.
His sire is the renowned Purrumbete Inti and his dam is one of Forestglen’s top dams carrying Minty, El Dorado, and Purrumbete Mona Lisa genetics.
Bravo won a number of ribbons in Australia in both breed and fleece classes but has not been shown in New Zealand
