Showing alpacas

Honeyfields Alpacas, although located relatively remotely by New Zealand standards endeavours to show both alpacas and alpaca fleeces wherever and whenever possible.     We have been following a specific breeding program for a number of years now and the resulting improvement in the quality of our herd is reflected in our show team.   Aside from showing alpacas, attending shows is a great social activity and an excellent opportunity to ‘network’ with other alpaca breeders

We consider that showing animals is an integral part of alpaca ownership and encourage alpaca breeders both existing and new to ‘give it a go’ .
